How to apply for a research degree

To apply for a research degree, please make sure you fulfill the entry requirements and then complete the online research degree application form and upload your supporting documents.

You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

International applicants should be aware of our research degree English language requirements

Visiting at CRiL

Visiting Research Fellowships at CRiL

We welcome applications from researchers who would like to join us to conduct their own independent research at CRiL.

Visiting Research Fellows will be expected to present their work in a staff seminar and to engage appropriately with CRiL and BMRI events.

Visiting Research Fellows are provided for the duration of their stay with a work station, computer and University of Bedfordshire email address.

To apply for a Visiting Research Fellowship, in the first instance please email the following information to Dr Silvia Borelli, at silvia.borelli@beds.ac.uk

  • Your full CV
  • A brief summary of the research you intend to carry out whilst at CRiL 
  • The proposed dates and length of stay

Please note that applicants must ensure that they are legally entitled to work in the UK in order to be considered for a Visiting Fellowship. Applicants currently in the UK on a tourist visa are not eligible for the Visiting Fellowship Programme.
