How to apply for a research degree

To apply for a research degree, please make sure you fulfill the entry requirements and then complete the online research degree application form and upload your supporting documents.

You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

Past Projects

Training Information and Communication Technologies through e-learning (T-ICT)

Project objectives

Project objectives will be achieved by four actions to be carried out in the project:

  • E-learning Sector Study - This action aims to review the e-learning situation in the different countries participating in the project. It's about defining the most important elements in an e-learning course in order to facilitate a useful tool to all the institution who want to develop an e-learning course. It's about to define, to analyse, and to compare the existing products on the market in order to establish future synergies.
  • E-learning editor development - In view of the elements established in action one, an e-learning editor will be developed. The editor can be used for developing any types of e-learning courses.
  • Development of e-learning courses - Several e-learning pilot courses will be developed by partners to test the e-learning editor.
  • Project Dissemination.
Development of e-learning courses:
  • Tested (by partners) platform of e-learning developing modules focused in the new professional profiles.
  • Facilitate the adaptation of new technology in Informatics and Telecommunication
The target groups:
  • Young unemployed with a higher level of education that are looking for a career into the ICT domain.
  • Unemployed women with a higher level of education.
  • Employees with a low level of expertise in ICT
