How to apply for a research degree

To apply for a research degree, please make sure you fulfill the entry requirements and then complete the online research degree application form and upload your supporting documents.

You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

International applicants should be aware of our research degree English language requirements

IASR Events

Professorial Lecture Series

You are invited to attend, one some of all of a series of Institute of Applied Social Research Professorial Lectures. Each lecture will be outlining findings from a lifetime of work, including new and established research in the specific areas of expertise. The IASR is leading the field of applied social research in a number of specific topics, impacting on the development of theory, policy and practice at local, national and international levels.

This lecture series captures the lead initiatives of professors working with the IASR.

All lectures are 16:00 (drinks reception) with lectures starting at 17:00.
