iBEST is the home of natural science research at the University of Bedfordshire. iBEST carries out research in four key areas:
The Institute focuses on postgraduate training, basic research, applied research and product development - in association with other academic groups and in collaboration with industry.
iBEST has specialist ‘state of the art’ research facilities for staff and postgraduate research programmes, and has attracted funding from industry, the research councils and major charities. Facilities and expertise are available to industry and other users via iBEST Services.
