Safe Working Arrangements

Safe Working Arrangements

1. Introduction

The general arrangements for health, safety and welfare at 250 Butterfield are determined by statutory requirements and:

  • the University of Bedfordshire’s Health, Safety and Welfare Policy
  • the Local Arrangements for 250 Butterfield

The nature of the work carried out in the Institute's laboratories requires special arrangements ("Safe Working Arrangements") to ensure the health, safety and welfare of staff, students and others that may be affected by the Institute activities.
