LIRANS Services includes specialist equipment for electrochemistry and ultra-high pressure liquid chromatography.
A range of research grade electrochemical workstations (Autolab) are available for one and two working electrodes with a range of electrochemical techniques (e.g. cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, square-wave voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry).
The Acquity UPLC from Waters is capable of working at pressures up to 15,000 psi using columns packed with 1.7 µm particles. Typically this leads to faster separations with better resolution when compared to conventional HPLC. The chromatograph is equipped with UV-vis and fluorescence detectors.
