LIRANS Services is well equipped with a range of specialist microscopes and imaging techniques - including biological fluorescence, cryomicroscopy and surface profiling.
The cell biology laboratory is equipped with a range of microscopes including those for both conventional (DM IL) and confocal laser scanning (SP5):
The cryobiology laboratory is equipped with an upright microscope (BX51) fitted with a liquid nitrogen cooled stage and video image capture capabilities:
The sensor research group is equipped with a range of microscopes - including low power stereomicroscope (MZ9.5) and confocal scanning(DCM 3D):
