Pat Mungroo, PhD Student

Pat Mungroo

Pat is a PhD Research Student from Cambridge.

He gained his MSc in Clinical Criminology from the University of Leicester in 2006.

Until recently, Pat worked with young people suffering from severe mental health and forensic problems.

Presently, Pat is the Chair of the Black Minority Ethnic group of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust.

His research topic for several years has concentrated on the impact of cannabis use on mental health patients’ aggressive and violent behaviour.

Pat’s PhD research topic is An Exploration of Cannabis Use and Mental Health.

Pat is a Justice of the Peace and a member of the Cambridgeshire Criminal Justice Board, South Cambridgeshire Crime & Disorder Rehabilitation Partnership and Crime & Justice Statistic Network.
