Research Area and Academic Interest

  • To explore why some sport attractions and sites of sport have special meanings for visitors and can generate feelings of deep attachment.  In particular to famous stadia  and venues associated with mega or hallmark events or birthplaces of a particular sport which have often created their own mystique and sense of place.
