You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

Research
Cheng came to the UK in 1997 at the age of 12.
In 2008, he received his bachelor degree in Computer Science from University College Oxford and worked as a software engineer at Barcrest Group the following year.
In late 2009, he joined the CWiND research group at University of Bedfordshire as a PhD student. He is currently doing research on the indoor-to-outdoor wireless channel, focusing mainly on computationally efficient propagation prediction algorithms.
In his spare time, he enjoys rock music, basketball and creating small flash games.
