How to apply for a research degree

To apply for a research degree, please make sure you fulfill the entry requirements and then complete the online research degree application form and upload your supporting documents.

You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

Dawod S. Kseibat, PhD Research Student

Dawod joined the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing (IRAC) in September 2006 to start a PhD currently titled "A Data-driven Adaptive Tutoring System for Teaching Modern Standard Arabic Language". Dawod obtained a BSc (Hons) in computer science from Garyounis University, Libya in 1991. He joined the Computer Science Department at Garyounis University as a teaching assistant in 1992. In 1994 he began his MSc in Computer Engineering at Guelph University, Canada. His thesis was titled "Developing Artificial Neural Network for Food Safety and Quality". He joined the Computer Science Department at Garyounis University as an assistant lecturer in 2000 and became a lecturer there in 2003. He thinks studying is the business of people who have nothing else to do.
