Research
Kenz joined the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing in March 2007 to start her PhD. Her topic is "An Intelligent Multimedia-Based Medical Assessment System".
She obtained her first degree BSc in Computing Science from the University of Garyounis, Libya-Benghazi in 1996.
In 2003, she obtained her MSc Degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Her thesis title was "Modelling and Analysis of globally asynchronous and Locally synchronous systems".
She worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Garyounis from 1996 to1997. Then she was employed by Jowfe Oil Technology, a national service company to the oil field sector until 2000. Her work entailed the troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software systems within the company.
Since 2003 she has been a member of staff at the University of Garyounis, Faculty of Information Technology.
She has experience with different languages, including Basic, Pascal, Assembly, C++, Java and Visual Basic.NET for several operating system, as well as the Simatic Step5 programming language used for the control of process automation in the running of a granular products plant.
Her teaching skills are in preparing and performing computer skills’ courses for groups from the Jowfe Oil Technology Co.’s staff.
She has been demonstrating for the Department of Computing Science at Garyounis University as a teaching assistant and staff member since September 2003. Also she co-preparing the computer text book for Libyan 7th grade public school students.
