Munam received his MSc in Computer Science from University of Peshawar Pakistan in 2003. He joined COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan as Lecturer in 2004.
He came to the UK in September 2008 for higher studies and subsequently received an MSc in Security Technologies and Applications from the University of Surrey. He is currently working on his PhD at the University of Bedfordshire, UK in the area of Novel, Secure, QoS aware Adaptive MAC protocol for Cognitive Radio Networks under the supervision of Dr. Ghazanfar Ali Safdar.
