To apply for a research degree, please make sure you fulfill the entry requirements and then complete the online research degree application form and upload your supporting documents.
You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.
International applicants should be aware of our research degree English language requirements
Research
Wei obtained his BSc degree in Automatic Control from Beijing Information Science and Technology University in 2002. Then he came to the UK to carry on his student career. In 2004 he successfully completed his MSc course in Internet Computing at University of Luton, and got his Master’s degree later on in 2005.
After that he decided to take up the greater challenge. He joined the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing in 2006 to start his PhD career. His research interest is 3G UMTS network Planning and Optimisation.
He is an open-minded, accommodating and warm-hearted person who is trying to help others all the time. Also he is a lover of sports, especially football.
