You should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

Research
Yueqiao Li joined in the "2+2" program, which is 2 years study in China and two years study at the University of Luton, from 2000. She obtained the BSc in Computer Science from Shenyang University of Technology (China) and the BSc in Internet Computing (first class) from the University of Luton in 2004.
She obtained a MSc in Software Engineering from the University of York in 2005.
Yueqiao joined the Institue for Research in Applicable Computing in Oct 2005, starting a PhD with studentship. Her topic is "Novel and Efficient Sequential and Parallel Algorithms for Shortest Path Problems". The aim of her work is to develop and analyse new algorithms that can be applied to path planning for autonomous robots.
Besides research work, she enjoys travel, music and sports.
