Centre Head Dr Neil Burton

The Primary Practitioner Research Centre is
underpinned by the drive to encourage, support and champion the development of
the attitudes and skills to become practitioner-researchers.
The role of emergent researchers within the primary teaching profession, to enhance pedagogy and knowledge and to inform the decision making processes within the primary classroom or school, is supported from a process perspective and particularly within the conceptual fields of second language development, primary literacy, STEM, ITT partnership, student voice, and the evaluation of curriculum development and CPD initiatives.
