Research
The acute effect of commonly used preparation strategies on short term high intensity motor capabilities.
Prof. Mark Lewis.
My research interests are linked to biomechanics and muscle structure and function. I am exploring the role of muscle excitation and musculo tendinous unit stiffness and there effect on high speed and high force activities. This is linked to looking at optimising training programmes for developing, strength, power and speed, with particular focus on the effect of warm-up modalities on physical performance and muscle function.
