Dek 1760RS

Dek 1760RS screen-printer

The Dek 1760RS is a semi-automatic screen-printer particularly suited to printing on to planar rigid substrates with dimensions up to 100 x 100 mm.  Deposited materials may be commercial or proprietary inks and pastes (e.g. conductive materials - particularly low temperature carbon and silver inks; insulting materials) and are typically 1 - 10 micrometers in thickness (after drying/curing).

Appropriate substrate materials include card, glass, paper, polymer and steel.

Within the sensor research group, the screen-printer is typically used to fabricate electrochemical sensor structures and micro-fluidic devices for handling microlitre volumes of liquid.
