GenoSmart is a gel documentation used in conjunction with a transilluminator (normally 312 nm - but other wavelengths are available). It is self-contained with an integrated colour LCD screen for image viewing and an 8-bit 768x582 pixel camera to capture real-time images of gel electrophoretic samples.
