Profile
Peter Dean, Principal Teaching Fellow - Media

I've been a full-time member of academic staff since 1993, firstly in the Department of Media Arts and now in the School of Media, Art and Design.
I was appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Multimedia but I am now Principal Teaching Fellow. I was the Field Manager for Media Production for six years.
Prior to joining the academic staff I did a lot of work in technical training including participation in projects funded by the British Council and others in Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and Bangladesh.
I worked as a lab technician whilst studying for my degree and I worked as a programmer and system manager in Computer Services whilst doing my MSc.
In my spare time I enjoy looking after my 'smallholding'.

We have around eight acres of garden/paddocks/woodland in a village in Buckinghamshire where my family and I keep horses, sheep, chickens and cats.
If you want some very fresh, free range eggs then just let me know!
