We wanted to work directly with lecturing staff as part of an institution-wide initiative to enhance the learning experience of students through an applied curriculum, underpinned by research. The University provided funding to support the growth of subject specific research activity of staff.
The purpose of the funding was twofold:
Projects between £5,000 and £25,000 were funded. Projects were 9-24 months in duration. The duration and funding of the project were dependent on the project's aims and objectives, and can vary within these boundaries.
