UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA)
The Luton Carnival Arts Development Trust (LCADT) has successfully been awarded £6.8 Million funding from regional and national sources to develop a UK Centre for Carnival Arts in Luton. The Centre, which will open its doors in September 2008, will build new partnerships and encourage artistic innovation, through collaboration in community workshops, outreach activity, educational programmes, exhibitions and performances. It will also provide accredited Carnival courses, business incubation units, and training in business management.
