Volunteer

Our aim is to provide a link between the University and the wider ubsu community through our volunteer placement service and to offer students opportunities to develop themselves through voluntary and project work.

Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, build confidence and gain work experience through projects that make a real difference to people's lives.

All volunteering opportunities are managed through the Student Union.

The Bedfordshire Edge

This award programme allows students to gain formal recognition for the learning they have gained through a range of activities undertaken whilst at University. This could include volunteering, part-time work, active roles in clubs and societies, being a course representative etc.

The Bedfordshire Edge gives you a chance to show prospective employers what you have achieved at University in addition to your qualification.
