Work experience is a great way to make yourself more employable.This could be a short term placement, an internship over the summer or a year long placement. Any period of work experience can be invaluable when you start to apply for jobs after graduation.
You can find out which organisations were awarded the title 'Work Placement of the Year' and 'Graduate Internship of the Year' in the Award Winners Brochure published by the National Council for Work Experience. Have a look to see which organisations are offering high quality schemes.
Cardiff University Careers Service suggests how you can find work experience. Although aimed at their own students, much of the information there is relevant to anyone looking for work experience opportunities.
