You don’t have to fill surveys in but by not filling them in the University will not know what it is doing right and what it is doing wrong. Without this information the University will not know how it can improve the services it provides.
At the end of each module you are taking you will be asked to complete a Student Perception of Modules Questionnaire which is your chance to let the University know what you think about the modules you a taking.
At the end of each academic year you will be asked to complete a Student Experience Questionnaire, which asks questions relating to your course and to all aspects of University life.
In your final year, all home undergraduate students will be asked to complete the National Student Survey This is a Government survey relating to what you think about the quality of your course.

Once the surveys have been completed they are sent to an external company to be inputted. The data are then analysed by the University and the outcomes are presented to the University’s governing committees and the Student Consultative Committee.
