To register your intent to come you need to download, fill in and return the order form with payment for your guest tickets.
Please also advise the team of any access requirements you or your guest have.
Please note: the deadline for registering for graduation is 25th May 2012. Do not wait for your results to book.
Until we have received responses from all invited graduands and their initial two tickets have been allocated it will not be possible to identify how many extra tickets (if any) will be available.
Depending on the size of the ceremony extra tickets may be available after the allocation of tickets requested via the booking form. These tickets may be available to purchase on the day of your ceremony at the registration desk.
If extra tickets are available an email or text will be sent to notify you. Please note that extra guests seats will not normally be allocated next to the first two guests seats.
All graduating students must wear academic dress to attend the ceremonies. This means a gown with hood or sash indicating the type of award you have obtained (Bachelors, Masters, PG Diploma etc.).
When you order, by selecting the award type, the right gown and hood combination is reserved. You will collect your gown on the day unless you make other arrangements.
You should hire your gown online from our suppliers Ede & Ravenscroft
Before ordering make sure you know your head circumference, chest and height measurements. (If you do not know your hat size, measure you head circumference one inch above the eyebrow.)
You can also order by phone. Lines are open:
Ede & Ravenscroft are also the official photographers, and while placing an order for your gown you can book a photography package. Please print the order form and bring with you on the day of your ceremony.
The University has arrangements with several suppliers to sell memorabilia. You can buy on your graduation day or from their websites.
Certificate framing can be order through
A DVD of your ceremony can be ordered from iamagraduate.com
Graduands, guests and staff attending graduation ceremonies should be aware that graduation ceremonies are regarded as public events. Names and faculties of graduands (including those graduating in absentia) are published in the graduation programme, on University branded clothing (t-shirts etc) from our supplier, Campus Clothing and occasionally in publicity materials.
Please do let us know if you or your guests would like the order of proceedings in an alternative format.
Members of the Faculty look forward to seeing you and your guests to celebrate your success at your degree congregation and awards ceremony.
