If the degree you wish to study is related to other study
you’ve completed or relevant work experience (paid or volunteer), you may gain
exemptions from some subjects.
This reduces the number of subjects you will have to study to attain your degree.
How much recognition of prior learning you receive will depend on when and what you have done, so contact Admissions and Recruitment on +44 (0)1582 489286 or admission@beds.ac.uk to discuss your particular situation.
You may have come across the terms APL (Accreditation of Prior Learning) and APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning). These are the terms we use when assessing previous work and academic experience.
