Student life
Normally the decision of the Mitigation Team is final.
However, there is an appeals procedure that you can follow if you feel strongly that the decision taken on your application is unfair.
The first informal step is to make an appointment with a Student Engagement Advisor via the Student Information Desk to talk through any issues you may have and to discuss why your claim was unsuccessful.
If you are not satisfied after this discussion and would like your case to be re-considered, you can write to the Head of Student Support, University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus, Park Square, Luton, LU1 3JU.
It may be that you did not supply enough details for complete consideration of your application or have further and new evidence to support your case.
Should your application be reconsidered and turned down, and you are still dissatisfied with the outcome, then you should appeal in writing to the Director for Student Experience, University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus, Park Square, Luton, LU1 3JU.
