If you want to suspend your studies, you will need to make an appointment with a Student Engagement Advisor who will discuss your options and the possible implications of suspending. You can make an appointment with a Student Engagement Advisor through the Student Information Desk (SiD Online).
You will need to complete a Suspension of studies form -

You can submit the completed suspension of studies form to the Student Information Desk at your campus, or log an enquiry on SiD Online and attach the completed form.
Students should be aware that suspending studies may have academic and financial implications. If you are an International Student, you will also need to discuss your situation with International Office as this may impact on your Visa.
If you want to withdraw from your studies at the University, you will need to make an appointment with a Student Engagement Advisor. This will allow you to discuss your issues, options and the possible implications. You can make an appointment with a Student Engagement Advisor through the Student Information Desk (SiD Online).
You will need to complete a Withdrawal form -

. You can submit the completed withdrawal form to the Student Information Desk at your campus, or log an enquiry on SiD Online and attach the completed form.

If you need to retake units due to mitigating circumstances, you may be able to apply for a Discretionary Grant.
For advice on your eligibility and to discuss the application process, you will need to make an appointment with a Student Engagement Advisor. You can make an appointment through the Student Information Desk at your campus, or log in to SiD Online.
You will need to complete a Discretionary Grant Application form, with any additional information and evidence attached, and submit your form to the Student Information Desk (SiD Online).
Your application will be considered by the Student Engagement team in the first instance. It will then be forwarded to the Faculty who will make a decision on your application and notify you of the outcome in writing.
