How to use the queuing system


At the University of Bedfordshire we use a queuing system so that you don't have to stand in line. You can take a seat and your name will be called when it's your turn. Many services around the University use this system such as-

We also use it to navigate students around the registration process at the start of term.

Here's how to use it:

  • Firstly, locate the SiD sign-in terminal
  • You then need to type in your Student ID number into the box on the 'Join Queue here' screen
  • Press 'Enter' and then a list of queues will appear
  • Click on the queue you wish to join
  • Once you have done this take a seat in the waiting area and watch the screen for your name to be called
  • When your name appears on the screen it will tell you the number of desk or room number to go to and the name of the member of staff
  • It will then be your turn to speak to the member of staff who will be able to advise you and help resolve your query for you
