Luton

The Mall Arndale, located right in the heart of Luton town centre, boasts more than 120 shops, ranging from high-street favourites to smaller specialist shops such as hairdressers, health shops, independent clothing shops, and a wide variety of café’s. There’s also an indoor market selling a selection of fabric, sweets, records, jewellery, flowers, fancy dress, and much more.

For those of you who are based at the Bedford campus, parking in Luton is easy, safe and secure. The Mall has three car parks offering convenient access to the shopping centre: Market Car Park, Central Car Park and Library Car Park, which offer over 2,300 car parking space. The shopping centre is also a short walk from the Luton train station and bus station.

Bedford

There are plenty of opportunities for avid shoppers in Bedford, which offers a wide range of high-street shops, smaller retailers and specialist shops.

There’s also a traditional open-air market located in St Paul’s Square on the banks of the river, which is held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Bedford also hosts three speciality Markets at Harpur Square: a Gourmet Food Market, joined by a monthly Framers Market, as well as a Flower and Plant Market and a monthly Antiques, Arts, Crafts and Collectors Fair. Whether you want to bag yourself a bargain, or enjoy the atmosphere whilst leisurely browsing, the busy Bedford markets at Harpur Square is the place to be.

Aylesbury

The town centre of Aylesbury is home to two main shopping centres - Friars Square and Hale Leys - which are both under cover and make shopping in poor weather a more brighter experience. Both offer many popular high street stores, in addition to a variety of specialist, independent shops and an Indoor Market in the lower mall of Friars Square.

High Wycombe

High Wycombe is home to one of the hottest new shopping and leisure destinations in the country. 

Earlier this year Eden opened its doors, offering a jaw-dropping array of big name shops, a 12-screen cinema, state-of-the-art bowling alley, a library, exclusive restaurants and loads more. With over 100 shops, including a fabulous, new four level House of Fraser department store and an impressive new Marks & Spencer, Eden really will be the place to shop 'till you drop.

Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes, located at Junction 14 of the M1, offers more than 400 shops, café’s and restaurants, 230 of which are located indoors. A trip to the Centre:MK is always a great day out, offering a wide variety of the most popular high-street stores, and a diverse assortment of smaller specialist shops, boutiques and open markets. The Centre:MK also has late night shopping on Thursday and Friday evenings, ensuring you have maximum time to fulfil your shopping needs. Parking is in abundance.

The Milton Keynes shopping centre also hosts a range of events and exhibitions throughout the year, where you can meet many of your favourite idols, film stars, TV actors, and sporting personalities, and collect their autographs, have your picture taken, and browse through the stalls packed with original props, signed posters and rare memorabilia.

London

Millennium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral

With over 40,000 fantastic shops, London is a shopaholic's dream come true. As well as thousands of shops lining the streets of London, there are also 83 famous markets including Covent Garden, Camden and Portobello Road, selling everything from antiques and exotic ingredients to retro fashions, urban wear, jewellery, and crafts.

London is home to many famous shopping destinations such as Oxford Street, which has more than 300 stores including Top Shop and Selfridges, and is also home to every well-known high-street store you can think of. Other popular shopping streets are Knightsbridge, Carnaby Street, Notting Hill, and Regent Street which is home to some of the city’s oldest and most famous shops.

If you’re a die hard fashionista and have some serious cash to splash, then Bond street is the ideal place to indulge in some retail therapy, and grab some designer gear. Not only is Bond street popular with London’s celebs, but it’s one of London’s most exclusive shopping spree areas.
