Luton

There’s a wide assortment of pubs, clubs and restaurants in Luton, which are well suited to our cosmopolitan student population. The cheapest night out is at the Students’ Union, which offers a broad range of entertainment and student discounts. However, for students who wish to venture further afield, there’s plenty of venues to check out in the town centre. Whether you’re after a traditional English pub or a trendy bar, you’re sure to find one you like.

Liquid and Envy

Plays host to the official UBSU “Cheeky Monkey” student night every Monday. Students are spoilt for choice with three rooms, playing a selection of student anthems, Electro, RnB and classic cheesy tunes

Edge

Located a short walk from the Park Square campus, Edge plays a selection of rock, indie and metal. So, if you’re not into pop classics and cheesy tunes, then Edge would be the place for you.

The Park

It’s close to the main campus, and is part of the 'Scream; pub chain, which means that if you’re a student you can get a yellow discount card, entitling you to cheap drinks.

Brookes

Luton's number one bar venue is superbly located a stone’s throw away from campus, which makes it an ideal place to meet up with friends. With great food and pitchers of cocktails on offer, it’s a great place to kick off your night.

Flame and The California Inn

These are two of Luton’s popular gay venues providing an evening of entertainment, dancing, karaoke, clubbing and cabaret.

Other venues to check out include:

  • Funck and Dejavu
  • The Brewery Tap
  • Bellini
  • Yates
  • The White House
  • Chicago’s
  • Exchange
