Boards of Examiners

The Undergraduate and Postgraduate Schemes have two levels of formal decision making on student progression and awards: Portfolio Boards and Scheme Boards.

In addition internal Boards, known as Student Attainment and Review (StAR) Boards, provide a means for monitoring student engagement and attainment, and preparing grades and decisions for consideration by Field Boards.

To find out more about the different types and functionality of the Board, please refer to Chapter 06: Boards of Examiners in the Quality Handbook - PDF 138.1 KB
