Course structure

The Full-Time MBA course is delivered over 15 months and incorporates eight taught units and two projects.

You will study four units (15 M level credits) in first and second semesters – eight units in total - which aim at expanding your current management skills and enhancing your awareness of current issues in business and management.

The two projects are delivered in first and last semesters of study.

Semester 1

In the first semester, alongside four other units listed below, you will study your first project of the course: Executive Development which carries 30 M level credits.

The unit provides an opportunity for you to reflect upon your personal models of excellent management practice in terms of your individual competence areas.

  • Marketing for Managers
  • Leading People in Organisations
  • Accounting for Managers
  • Managing Operations
  • Executive Development

Semester 2

In the second semester you will mostly study modules that are relevant to the pathway you have chosen.

For each of the pathways you will study a core unit, relevant to this field, and two elective units. More information about pathways can be found under MBA pathways

  • Strategic Management
  • Core Unit (depending on route)
  • 2x Elective Unit (depending on route)

Semester 3

The third semester focuses on the Theory into Practice Project (30 M level credits).

The unit puts you into a simulated management environment to help you put theory into practice and think about the wide range of techniques you have explored on your course.

What benefits will the MBA bring to you?
