Fourth Transnational Project Meeting

The DigiVIP project held its Fourth Transnational Project Meeting (TNM4) on 31st January - 1st February 2023 at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK. Several representatives from partner countries, Turkey, UK and Germany, attended the meeting.

During 1st day of the meeting the partners discussed project intellectual outputs:

- IO1: Anjali Shegunshi (the Business School's Learning Development Manager) made a presentation about BREO platform and suggested the course structure and content where each curriculum/module will have a separate folder with slides presentation and a supplementary material.

- IO2: partners confirmed that seven modules have been created and finalised. This is a coherent set of modules that can be taught and learned individually. Each module will make 6 ECTS and will require only general business knowledge. There was also a discussion about supplementary material to the modules.

- IO3: Hande Bulbul (Bizpark, Turkey) presented an app with initial three areas: drones, 3D printer and solar panels. The partners discussed other areas of digital transformation taken from the case studies and agreed to cover five areas in total - 3D printing, drones, solar panels, robotics, and IoT sensors.

- IO5: Fatma Soyer (IMMIB, Turkey) presented several case-studies in addition to those presented during last TNM3 by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. The consortium aims to prepare at least 24 case studies that will be gathered as a separate publication.

The Business School Executive Dean, Chris Marshall, visited the project team on a 2nd day of the meeting. Chris talked about the University and how it has grown and changed during last several years. He stressed an importance of this project as it will play its role not only in further collaboration with the SMEs and innovation bridge projects, but also and in the curriculum renewal.

During that day the partners summarised the actions to be done for each project output. They also discussed various dissemination activities for students, business companies, academics, research and training centres. It was agreed that surveys, interviews, presentations, classroom, and other similar activities can be performed.

By end of the meeting Professor Ilhan Dogan, the project lead from Istanbul University, has confirmed the dates of two Multiplier Events and an International Conference to be organised in Istanbul in May 2023. The final project meeting TNM5 will also be held in Istanbul, Turkey, at the same time.
