Erasmus+ DigiVip Project - Kick-off meeting
The DigiVIP project held its official Kick-Off Meeting on 1st March 2022 with several representatives from three partner countries, Turkey, UK and Germany, gathered in Istanbul, Turkey.
The meeting aimed to discuss: IO1 research results, curriculum modules, evaluation of project objectives, and dissemination of results.
In September 2021 the partners facilitated virtual focus group discussions with local SMEs on supporting digital transformation. The results of this Output 1 were reported during the meeting.
The discussion focused on issues related to ‘understanding digital transformation, use of new technologies, human resource issues, green skills needs, skills needs for curriculum design and training development’. The insight into the challenges and opportunities provided better knowledge and understanding on training needs of UK, German and Turkish SMEs, and will enable the project to develop relevant and effective education and training programmes on digital transformation management.
