Project: Beyond the surface: Board of directors effectiveness relating to task and CSR in Nigeria
Description: Despite abundant literature on board effectiveness, what makes board effective is still a puzzle. Majority of the studies conducted on this subject matter are from developed countries and mostly employed traditional 'input-output' approach. This study intends to investigate board effectiveness beyond the traditional approach, and with some empirical evidences from an emerging economy, Nigeria. An anonymous survey link will be used to collect data from directors of companies listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), and Structure Equation Modelling is the analysis tool that will be employed in this research.
