Project:  The transfer and diffusion of HR practices of two multinational companies (MNCs)

Description: This research examines the transfer of HRM practices in the Nigeria subsidiaries of MNCs from European countries. It is aimed addressing a few gaps identified from the literature. More specifically, this study attempts to shed light on the nature of HR practices, the process of transfer, diffusion and configuration of HR practices, the main factors that shape the HR practices found in European MNCs subsidiaries operating in the Nigerian oil and energy industry and the role of HR and line manager in the implementation of HR practices. The study utilises semi-structured interview from two European case companies. Data was gathered using in-depth interview from HR professional, line managers and departmental head.
