You can now submit your CV via our online portal, Careersonline. To do this, login using your usual student username and password. If you have graduated and your student id has expired, please register for an alumni account from the above link.

After logging in, select CVs from the top right hand menu and follow the instructions to upload your CV and request a review. One of our Employability Advisers will respond within 3-5 working days with appropriate feedback.

Once it is ready to use, you have the option to publish your CV on Careersonline to share with employers who are recruiting through the service.

Volunteering is an excellent way to develop new skills and gain work experience. During the current COVID-19 crisis, many charities and other voluntary organisations are encouraging voluntary work from home.

Whilst being at home for longer periods, it's a good time to update your skills for future employment. Free online training is being offered by many learning providers to develop new skills or improve existing ones.

Careersonline

For details of current job opportunities and events:

Access Careersonline using your current student username and password. Graduates will need to set up an alumni account if not already done so. Please note; due to the current situation and social distancing regulations, forthcoming events will be held virtually until it is safe to resume on-campus events and activities.

Students can access careers resources via our dedicated BREO communities. From the BREO homepage; select the communities tab and the Careers BREO Community which you will have been auto-enrolled onto based on your year of study.

The community contains lots of useful information, links to resources and short bitesize videos on key career topics.

Use your student username and password to login: breo.beds.ac.uk


A self-booking service is now available. Please login to our careers portal using your student username and password from: careersonline.beds.ac.uk/unauth

Select Book / Appointments then book your preferred date and time. Once you have booked your guidance session, you will be sent a link to join the meeting via Zoom on your pc, laptop or mobile so that you can speak with an Employability Adviser. If you do not have access to Zoom, please let the adviser know by replying to the email so that an alternative platform can be arranged.
