Volunteers needed during the current COVID-19 situation

The global pandemic has impacted everyone in many ways. Now more than ever there are people in your community that need the support of volunteers.

Volunteering from home is a way of helping people and a great way to gain work experience! This could be in the form of remote mentoring and tutoring, admin or translation work. Even giving just a couple of hours of your time a week can not only support people in need but also equip you with transferrable skills, demonstrating commitment and a strong work ethic which will help you stand out in job applications and interviews! In addition to the professional benefits volunteering can bring, it can be beneficial to your own sense of wellbeing.

The University of Bedfordshire is committed to contributing to the development of civic and public life through involving students, staff and external audiences in volunteering programmes. We offer a range of ways for students to get involved in volunteering, from one-off events to regular and long-term commitments. Select the boxes below to find out more or visit Careersonline to search for current opportunities (once logged into Careersonline, select Search/Opportunites and filter by Voluntary)
