Collaborative Projects Team
The Collaborative Projects team is based within the Centre for Academic Partnerships. The team works with a number of sector-level and cross-sector partner organisations to promote higher education access. This includes working with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), charities, businesses, funders, local schools, and other further and higher educational institutions. The team also helps to build sustainable collaborative networks within the region and beyond. The aim of these networks is to support the development of reflective practice among access practitioners in order to contribute to research and policy analysis in the field of widening participation.
Aspire Higher is part of the Office for Students' Uni Connect programme, which aims to increase the number of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into higher education. The programme includes a range of school-based, community-level and online delivery. It is delivered in partnership with the Universities of Hertfordshire and Northampton.
