CLE Responsibilities
- Managing own portfolio of projects (eg. Course Shells, Strategic Initiatives to improve the Student Experience, Staff Training and Development on VLE, etc. )
- Analysing data on Blackboard usage at University of Bedfordshire and implementation of data quality practices.
- Providing support and advice for staff across the University on technology enhanced learning.
- Developing online resources, new e-learning materials, lecture capture technologies, online assessments and provide advice on the use of technology relating to the use of the Blackboard Learn (currently based on the Blackboard VLE platform).
- Maintaining and developing existing resources, provide support and training for staff in the use of Blackboard Learn and other integrated enabling technologies: PANOPTO, PebblePad, Backboard Collaborate, BREO, Turnitin, etc.
- Communicating and responding to institutional priorities and strategy through engagement with academic teams.
- Developing and implementing digital teaching and e-learning interventions that respond to analysis of internal and external data (e.g. TEF, NSS etc.) and developments in institutional strategy.
