Undergraduate (BA/BSc)
How to apply for Undergraduate degrees (BA/BSc)
We have an excellent reputation for preparing students for employment. Our undergraduate programmes are characterised by choice, flexibility and career relevance.
A BA/BSc will normally take three years to complete via full-time study or four years for programmes that include a 'sandwich' or work placement year.
Application routes for UK students
The normal application route for full-time study is via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Applications should be submitted online.
If you are in full-time education, your school or college will be able to advise you on making your UCAS application.
For part-time study you should apply direct to the University. Information about non-standard application routes is included on individual course descriptions.
Entry requirements
We will consider you as an individual and take into account all elements of your application, not just your qualifications.
We are looking for both breadth and depth in your current studies as well as enthusiasm for the subject you wish to study.
The standard requirement is one of the following:
- UCAS Tariff Score greater than 200, which should include either two A level passes or an AVCE Double Award
- An Access qualification
- Equivalent qualifications such as Irish Leaving Certificate, Scottish Highers, International Baccalaureate or BTEC National Diploma
