About the course
From global extravaganzas like the Olympics to regional music and food festivals, the events-related industry is growing at an incredible rate so needs specialist managers who can apply their skills to this field.
On this course you will study the project management and strategy needed for successful events and tourism management while examining the cultural impact of tourism and strategies to ensure the long-term success of an events and tourism commercial enterprise.
There are six entry points through the year. This allows you to start when it is most suitable.

Extra costs for this course
Throughout your course there are opportunities for extra-curricular activities and learning experiences.
These activities are optional but are an important part of the learning experience.
The events are available to both our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The Department of International Business, Marketing & Tourism support and fund the majority of these activities but there is some need for students to make contributions.
The extra costs are normally £20 - £50 for local events and £75 - £200 for overseas events.
