Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator for Public Health

Dorcas AdeoyeI have been teaching public health and social care since I qualified with a masters’ degree in public health in 2013. I have conducted public health and social care research and published in related journals.

I developed a keen interest in designing different teaching techniques and implementing these in my teaching. I also incorporate evidence-based practice and student-centred learning in delivering lectures and presentations. I am currently a lecturer in Health and Social Care.

I have taught different levels of education such as foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate degree. I also teach Modern healthcare in the University’s Business School; an MBA course for healthcare professionals.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH). I also gained a Higher education qualification as a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in teaching and learning.
