Susan Gill
Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Course Co-ordinator for MA Applied Social Work: Leadership and Management and Children and Families
I qualified as a Social Worker in 1993 and have a strong background in Children and Families work. I have worked in a range of settings which include a variety of Local Authority teams, a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, and British schools overseas.
I moved into management in 1996 and have developed specific interests in child mental health, early help, integrated working, and supervision. My roles have involved the training and development of a multi-agency workforce across all these areas. I also qualified as a Practice Educator in 2015.
I joined the University in 2015, initially as a Visiting Lecturer, before taking on the permanent role of Course Co-ordinator.
