The University of Bedfordshire Business School (UBBS) has been successful in its reassessment of its Small Business Charter accreditation in 2019.

The University is currently one of only a few business schools to have achieved this accolade. The accreditation is a recognition of the significant engagement between UBBS, its stakeholders and the many small and medium enterprises within the Bedfordshire region.

Having first received the award in 2015, The UBBS had to undergo a thorough assessment to ensure that it met the criteria for the award. The Small Business Charter (SBC) looked at how the University supports SMEs, how it engages with networks catering toward small businesses, and how it supports start-ups. In each of these areas the University has put a number of initiatives and programmes in place to demonstrate our commitment to SMEs.
