Neville Hunt

Senior Lecturer and Senior Teaching Fellow

Neville Hunt is an Approved Course Leader from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. At the University of Bedfordshire he coordinates Copywriting, Sales and Sales Promotions, and Public Relations related units.

Neville has been awarded the prestigious Norman Manners Award for ‘PR Professional of the Year 2008’ by the Thames and Chiltern regional branch of the CIPR for his outstanding contribution to the PR industry.

There is no doubt that Neville is one of our students' favourite lecturers. His creative, fun and innovative teaching strategy has been gaining high rates in study evaluation questionnaires.

Industrial, Commercial and Consultancy Experience

Neville has a very wide range of experience. For over 15 years he worked for top advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam and Masius Wynne-Williams / D’Arcy. As an Account Executive and later an Associate Director (in the latter company) he worked on blue chip clients including Mars, Beechams, Wilkinson Sword, Johnson and Johnson, John Player and Chrysler.

Later on, Neville took Director roles at the marketing, advertising, sales promotion and public relations consultancy and a recruitment agency.

Apart from that, Neville worked as a Freelance Copywriter and Creative Consultant for several advertising, design and direct marketing agencies.
