Karen White
Senior Lecturer in Midwifery
I began my career as a registered nurse in 1996, before training locally with the University of Luton and qualifying as a midwife in 2004.
I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Midwife and a Registered Teacher.
Prior to joining the University I worked as a practice development midwife, it was this role that ignited my passion for educating our future midwifery workforce.
I am committed to developing students to gain the clinical skills and professional attributes required to succeed in the midwifery profession and beyond.
