Why did you choose the University of Bedfordshire?

The University has an excellent reputation for supporting students.

What has been the most challenging task you have accomplished in your degree?

Studying at Level 7 and writing at that level.

How did the course prepare you for employment?

I was able to get a job immediately.

Which practical aspects of the course did you enjoy the most and why?

Actually being a student when out in practice.

What did you like about the facilities?

For me Putteridge Bury campus was an amazing place to study within those inspiring grounds which we had access to. Also, the home cooked food in the refectory was excellent. The study spaces and some lecture rooms were a great place to discuss and engage.

Were the staff members supportive with your studies?

The course leader led by example and all staff supported us.

Apart from studying, what else about university did you enjoy?

Being part of a student cohort and meeting so many people, all having so much to offer each other.

Which University services did you use most and why?

BREO (Bedfordshire Resources for Education Online).

Any advice for people thinking of studying at the University of Bedfordshire?

Ask and ask again if support is required, embrace the positive support and challenge yourselves to go further.

What skills do you think you have learnt as a result of your studies at the University?

I have felt that my study skills in research and critical analysis will support further work planned. The leadership skills I have learned have proved invaluable.

Why would you recommend the University of Bedfordshire to others?

Because of the highly skilled supportive teaching staff.

Who is your employer, what is your job title and what are your responsibilities?

I am employed in Central Bedfordshire as a Health Visitor and in Milton Keynes as a Nurse Prescriber/Practitioner.

Did the course contribute to your career path and to landing these current jobs?

The successful completion of the course enabled me to secure a job within health visiting.

Name one successful/wizzy thing you have done since finishing your degree.

I have since undertaken further training which allows me to sit as chair of the bench as a Justice of the Peace.
